Aspiring Inventor

My mind loves to run. Continually processing mounds of stimulation is exhausting so coming up with inventions is my meditation. Solar powered camping chairs for toasty buns by the fire, a communicative braking system to minimize rear end collisions, and apps for grocery shopping, organizing schedules and rewards for losing weight are all THIS close to making our lives better.

SLOW Fashion

When designers use natural/organic fabrics, design pieces to last decades of consistent wear, pay proper wages to local makers, minimize waste in production and use compostable products for shipping, they’re playing a part in the slow fashion movement. Seven years ago, I began researching designers who fulfilled this model and opened a boutique exclusively offering slow fashion brands.

Travel

Travel inspires. I’ve been moved by a sense of adventure from the West coast, culture from the East, wholesomeness in the midwest, and resilience in the South, the tranquility of Mexico, sincerity of Australia, pride of France, quirkiness of England, history of Portugal, and generosity of Africa. Orcas Island, Mendocino, Lake Tahoe, and Hana are magical, and visiting them has made me a little magical too.

Mental Projector

Mental Projectors are rare and unique subtypes of Human Design (making up 3% of the USA) who have insight the world needs to develop and grow. An MP who waits to be invited has enormous wisdom to share. Intuitively, MP’s know what the other energy types need to be doing to make the best use of their energy in work and life. We are the teachers, the guides, and the sages of the world.

Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)

"Get it right the first time” is the strategy of an HSP. We’ve been studied and it turns out we’re not just sensitive souls, but our brains actually function differently than non-HSP’s. We’re 20% of the population, take in loads of stimulation, are ultra-responsive to our environments, extremely perceptive, empathetic, intuitive and sensitive emotionally and physically. My creativity is a bonus.

Customer Service

How many jobs does it take to become an expert in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and hard work? Double it and that’s how many I had before becoming an entrepreneur. I know restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, hotels, hospitals, and resorts. and continue to be inspired by culinary greatness, luxury accomodations, compassionate customer service, graceful style and the perfect pour.
