Sometimes you just stumble on something wonderful. We were adventuring one day and found a little side strip of shops in a little town in Northern Indiana called Chesterton. Going into the Willow Shop felt like being home. It’s quaint, beautiful, inspiring, and has big heart. The plants, products and accessories feel adventurous. They have some plants I’ve never seen before that I’m instantly hoping can become my best friends. The owner is kind and humble and shares her information freely. The best things about this shop is that all the plants we’ve brought home have been thriving. Plants from any other shop have been hit or miss at best. I thought it was us, and now, I feel like we’re being cared for long after we leave by the Willow Shop. Thank ladies. (Did I mention it’s women owned and operated?)
Offered here are all kinds of fun accessories for plants and home. I couldn’t resist buying an Indiana holiday ornament that happens to hang out all year long. I’m also eyeballing a set of ceramics. They offer pop-ups regularly with super cool artisans. You get the feeling that the mission of this shop is to help others progress and it’s powerful.
They also offer workshops of all kinds. I’m REALLY excited to do one with reiki + yoga, another with paper-making, and I just saw one with painting a cactus scene. If you’re local to the area or are traveling, please stop by the Willow Shop. If you aren’t, give them a follow and send some love here.
