We were looking to move to a place with a small town feel, immense natural beauty and a community that’s connected. One of the places that checked all of our boxes was Hana, Hawaii on the island of Maui. By the time we decided to book our trip, all of the airbnbs were occupied and the only place left to stay was the Hana Maui Resort. Typically, this hotel would have been out of our budget for a multiple night stay, but because it was the only place available, we were forced to enjoy heaven for three glorious nights. I loved Hana! Many visitors come for the day, but I really feel like I can live there. The hotel staff was so welcoming and kind. The room we got was spacious and peaceful. The pool was dreamy but the best part was waking up early for the sunrise. We’d walk with other guests down the long grassy meadow to the water and take it all in before deciding what adventures lie ahead. Look how beautiful!
I enjoyed the room and bath layout so much, we’re redesigning our main bedroom and bathroom in our new cabin and using the Hana Maui Resort as inspiration.
