Chocolates and Macarons by Ginger Elizabeth

I grew up on See’s Candy. The idea that I could visit a chocolate shop and select any number of yummy centers that would match my mood. When I tried Ginger Elizabeth for the first time, I thought there was no way she could fill Mrs See’s shoes and she did. Not only are the chocolates perfectly delicate with intricate flavors, but they offer macarons that are so close to the ones in Paris, I can’t tell the difference. They also make hot chocolate to order (as well as offer tins to purchase for take home milk chocolates), chocolate cookies that are nearly as good as brownie dough (which I prefer over the baked version) and house made marshmallows. My first love will always be See’s but my soul mate is Ginger Elizabeth.
